My first “Art Licensing Proposal” for a product. Just received the contract to sign. (For the Surf City Still Works Vodka Label)
This was a goal I set for myself 3 years ago. I am constantly thinking about what I can do to move forward…keep this ship afloat..and create my way. (Not anyone else’s..MY way.) Constantly brain storming ideas..avenues..what if I tried this or that. Think outside the box and using good info from others before me but not getting caught up in “this is the only way to do it” mindset.
I wrote it down on a little piece of paper. Years ago someone told me once..write it down. Just do it. Just write down a list of goals. I entertained the idea but you know I didn’t really think much of it. Until about the second goal..when I was able to check that off. Then by the third goal…I was a believer. By the 5th goal checked off….I’m here to say…WRITE THAT SHIT DOWN. And update it every year. And get braver and write down what feels like kinda impossible but it sure would be cool if it worked out and why the hell not me? This has always been a little whisper inside me brain. “Why not me.” Since those days looking out my childhood bedroom window daydreaming about what I would do and where I would go when I grow up. It’s always been there telling me..if you try…if you work hard..if you sacrifice when needed…if you never give up…you can do whatever you choose to do.
